ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Born and raised in Louisiana, Robin Caroll is a southerner through and through. Her passion has always been to tell stories to entertain others. Robin’s mother, bless her heart, is a genealogist who instilled in Robin the deep love of family and pride of heritage—two aspects Robin weaves into each of her books. When she isn’t writing, Robin spends time with her husband of twenty years, her three beautiful daughters, one precious grandson, and their four character-filled pets at home—in the South, where else?

Robin gives back to the writing community by serving as Conference Director for ACFW. Her books have finaled/placed in such contests as RT Reviewer's Choice, Bookseller's Best, and Book of the Year. An avid reader herself, Robin loves hearing from and chatting with other readers. Although her favorite genre to read is mystery/suspense, of course, she’ll read just about any good story. MY THOUGHTS:
This was one of those books that I couldn't put down, it was pretty late at night when I began, but I ignored the clock and read the entire book.  I couldn't let the characters hang there waiting to see if they'd live or die, could I???  Two innocent women are thrown into the middle of a cover-up and as the person doing the covering gets more and more fearful he of course begins to hit closer to home.

The book is fast paced, pretty evil, but not so evil that it gave me nightmares or made me want to check under the bed!  I loved the level of suspense, and even though I figured out the culprit early on, it in no way made the book any less thrilling.  The touch of forgiveness and love in the book made it well rounded as well!  All in all this was a very good read!
