Touching the Clouds
Leaving home in her small red plane she flies across mountains towards Alaska seeking a position as a pilot. Upon landing in Alaska Kate is drawn to the beauty and open skies, landing a job as a pilot is another story altogether. Kate does land a job, but how will the men treat her? One man simply does not like her, another falls in love with her. As Kate flies the Alaskan skies she takes you on some breath holding adventures as she meets many wonderful people. From Natives to a mysterious man, near death experiences and joy this book never has a dull moment!
I recommend this book, it is full of adventure and wit. Bonnie Leon certainly knows how to bring her characters to life and bring you into the story in a way that you feel as though you're actually right there witnessing it all! I cannot wait for book two in this serious!

I enjoyed Touching the Clouds very much! Bonnie Leon's book was intriguing and made me smile!
ReplyDeleteI thought this novel compared very well with others in the world of Christian historical fiction. It had numerous tricks and turns that kept me turning one page after another well into the night.
