Book Review, Courting Morrow Little, by Laura Frantz

Courting Morrow Little: A Novel
Courting Morrow Little, by Laura Frantz is one of those books that you just can't put down!  When Morrow was just a young girl her mom, and sister were killed by Shawnee warriors, and her brother was kidnapped, the memories continue to haunt her especially after she returns from living in Philadelphia with her aunt to live once again with her father.  Morrow is deeply afraid of the Shawnee and can't understand why her father has befriended them.  Living away from the shelter of the colony Morrow and her father have plenty to worry about, but yet they remain safe, safe from all but suitors more than willing for Morrow's hand in marriage.  A beautiful woman, Morrow does not fall easily for her suitors, she wishes for love and finds it in the most surprising place of all.  Will Morrow risk everything for love as her father becomes more and more ill with consumption, he lives to see his wishes granted.

Morrow's life seems to be one risk after another, yet full of love, hope and forgiveness.  This book is not simply a book of love and romance, but one of strength and full of lessons to be learned.  History is mixed with adventure keeps this book interesting and you the reader, on your toes wondering what is going to happen next!
