Book Review: The Hidden Gifts of Helping

"Everyone stumbles on hard times.  After all, no one gets out of life alive.  Today, even those who had considered themselves protected from hardship are being touched and their lives changed by volatile economic markets, job uncertainty, and the increasing isolation and loneliness of modern life." - from the introduction.

My Thoughts:
This is a wonderfully book and very well written.  Stephen Post writes in a clear, easy manner that is easy to read and touches your heart as you read of what his family has gone through with his many moves.  This is a book that can touch and help many people and even if you're not currently struggling it will bring out your compassion towards others and maybe some day memories of the book will be there to help you when you need it.

This book is a reminder that Love can heal.
